The Rainbow Bridge is Sierra Noonan's 2024 Girl Scout Gold Award Project.
"As a pet owner and animal lover, I know losing an animal can be an underestimated grief. I built this bridge to give children, families, and individuals a place to honor their pet's life and bring awareness to their journey of grief. I hope this project can be an outlet of comfort for people throughout our community."

I got my dog Bruno while I was in the army back in 2009. He helped me through some difficult times and brought joy to my life when it was at its worst. He was the perfect dog at the perfect time. Full of personality and energy all the way to the end. even then he was trying to do everything he could to bring joy and just be by my side. I will always be grateful for his compassion. We had some good times. I’m looking forward to seeing him at the rainbow bridge and can imagine him romping over and howling like he used to when I came home or when I got up in the morning and walked down the hallway.

Finn always followed me everywhere, but that evening, the house was silent. When I couldn’t find him, I noticed the gate in the yard was ajar. My heart sank. I searched the neighborhood, calling his name, but he never came.

The next morning, someone called. They’d found him near the road. I rushed over, hoping for a miracle, but when I saw him, I broke. He looked so peaceful, like he was just sleeping.

Now the house feels empty. His leash still hangs by the door, and I can’t stop thinking I should’ve kept him safe.

Prince was the best cat. Our time was right before I went to bed when I would pet him until we both fell asleep. He was very attuned to me and stayed close when I was sick or sad. Even as an old man he was very talkative and I swear we had full conversations. He hated when I traveled and always welcomed me home dramatically. We basically grew up together and I will miss him forever until I see him agian. I love you so much princy.

Mischief was my everything. We were blessed with her for 12 years. Missy, as Mom called her, was a Ginger Tabby that loved everyone. She loved to go for walks, short drives and meeting her fan club. As my health declined, she watched over me. She'd even alert me if my blood sugar was getting too low. I just don't know what to do without her.
