We love volunteers! And you love animals! It's a Win - Win Situation!
We are open to having volunteers - but there are some guideline to follow for everyone's safety. If you are under 18, and come as an individual or with a school - there must be one adult present for every four underage volunteers. We also require a form to be signed by all volunteers- and if under the age of 18 a parent or guardian must sign as well.

Ways you can help volunteer:
FOSTERING!!! We always need fosters. What does this entail? When we are limited on space you can take an animal and keep it until we have space to bring it back to the facility. Or if it's a litter you keep the mom and litter until they are old enough to be vaccinated (which keeps them healthy in the shelter). Or if we have special needs such as elderly, ill, social ackward, etc. We provide, crate, food, what ever the animal needs. You must be prepared to keep the animal until adopted or we have an opening (which is not often). It could be 1 week, 1 month, 1 year. Animals cannot be fostered from a county facility. However animals from our facility can be fostered. And if the person will foster long term commitment, we then in turn can pull one from animal control to save it. Sign up today:
