If you are interested in becoming a partner with our shelter- including sponsoring a pet - please contact us at director@hshcwv.org.
You can choose a specific animal or sponsor any animal that comes through our door. The amount will help to cover the cost of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and deworming, and if there is any leftover we can reduce the adoption fee as well. Our small dogs and puppies, and purebreds are $150, our larger and older dogs are $95, and our cats and kittens are $85 (unless purebred then they are $150).
You can simply mail a check, stop in the shelter or thrift store, or feel free to use PayPal and designate it to be a pet sponsorship and if sponsoring a specific animal make sure to let us know the animals name.
As always we here at the shelter, our community, and the animals thank you!

Proud Participant of the Shelter Animals Count
Shelter Animals Count is a collaborative effort with broad representation from the animal welfare community. By creating standardized reporting and definitions for shelter statistics including intake, adoptions, return-to-owner, transfers, euthanasia and shelter deaths, we will increase live outcomes. The board is dedicated to furthering more transparency with anonymity through sharing of shelter data to increase lifesaving opportunities. |
