Donate Supplies
The following are items we can always use:
- Purina Puppy Chow*
- Purina Kitten Chow*
- Kitten litter (any brand)
- Dog leashes and collars
- Cat collars
- Dog/cat toys
- Dog/cat treats
- Bleach
- Laundry detergent
- Fabric softener sheets
- Gently used towels or blankets
- Paper towels
- Trash bags
*Please only donate the Purina brand, as switching brands causes the animals to get upset stomachs, etc.
Make a Monetary Donation
Like any non-profit organization, the HSHC relies heavily on monetary donations. There are numerous costs to meet, from caring for the animals to the costs of everyday operation. Every little bit helps. To make a donation, you can:
1. Donate via PayPal
You can make a donation of any size using your debit card, credit card, or by transferring funds from your
checking or PayPal account. A PayPal account is not required. To donate via PayPal, simply click on the "Donate" button at
the very top of the page, above the menu.
Note: If you would like to sponsor the spay or neuter of an animal, the cost is $55.00 for a dog and $45.00 for a cat.
Note: Anyone in the local area Federal Government or Military can contribute to the HSHC through the Combined Federal Campaign Program. Our catalog number is 89719.
2. Donate by Check
You can also make a donation by mail. Simply print and fill-out our Donation Form
and mail it along with your check to:

Donate Items to or Shop Our Thrift Store
The HSHC owns and operates a thrift shop located in Clarksburg, WV. By donating new or gently used items, or by shopping the store, you can support the HSHC and the animals it cares for. 100% of sale proceeds benefit the HSHC and its programs.
Hours: Mon-Fri 11am-4pm and Sat 11am-3pm
Pick-ups: Any items you wish to donate can be picked up by calling (304) 624-5040.
